Browse beyond your camera roll
Open local folders or connect Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, pCloud, Yandex Disk, Nextcloud and supported server protocols. Browse remote files even when they are not part of a sync rule.
Files is also where you find cloud-only photos. Download them when you want local copies available without that connection.
Copy, move and organize
Select files, choose a destination, and copy or move them between accessible locations. Create folders, rename items, share selected files and delete items you no longer need. Available operations depend on the permissions of the storage account or folder.
The two panels keep separate browsing locations. On wider screens they appear side by side, which helps when working with a phone folder and a remote destination.
Know when to use a rule
Use file actions for work you want to perform now. Set up ongoing folder sync when the same folders should keep exchanging changes. Use Quick Upload for a saved destination without ongoing tracking of the sent files.
Review transfer progress and results in Tasks. A remote deletion does not go into SyncGallery's local recycle bin; provider recovery options vary.
Questions before you start
Can I connect more than one cloud account?
Yes, including multiple accounts with the same provider. Check the provider and account name before choosing a destination.
Does browsing a folder automatically back it up?
No. Browsing, copying files and creating an automatic sync rule are separate actions.
